River Mole Discovery Day

A full day of activities with an environmental theme will take place on the River Mole at Leatherhead . This will be a fun day for young and old with an opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities, competitions, games and demonstrations. Run jointly by Mole Valley District Council, the Lower Mole Countryside Management Project and the Environment Agency, the River Mole Discovery Day provides an opportunity for a number of environmentally-based organisations to promote their activities to the general public against the backdrop of the river.

The venue is the open space within the Leatherhead Leisure Centre, between the football club and the river. Activities will take place between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. There will be refreshments on sale, but activities will be free of charge.

Enjoy a great day out and learn more about the beauty and diversity of the local environment.

For further details contact Rod Shaw, Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking or email rod.shaw@molevalley.gov.uk.
